to everything we do,
to who we are,
to how we learn,

and to everyone around us.

Today, we’re heading down to the Playground Arena
to see how our four Premier League values
play a role in PE,
in practice
and in everyday challenges and experiences.  

So let’s watch some Premier League Primary Stars in action. 

Be ambitious

As we join the field, it’s great to find this rising Primary Star
continuously working hard...
Not intimidated by failure, but excited by the challenge to learn from his mistakes and try his best.
But will his hard work and determination pay off? And he hits the back of the net!
What a reward for his perseverance  and resilience!
And a great celebration too! A proud moment in this pupil’s learning career and a wonderful example of how to be ambitious!

Be inspiring

And here are the yellows with a breakaway attack.
Well none of us saw that coming! 
But a supportive Primary Star comes in. And what an example this pupil has set as she encourages her teammate to keep going.

Let’s have another look at that…
Those words of encouragement have made a real impact on both her teammate and her team. Now that is how to be inspiring!

Be connected 

What a beautiful day we have for today’s lesson. 
Nervous moments, as always, with both teams waiting for the whistle to kick things off.
How fitting that it should come down to these two teams. Oh!  The green team have let in an early goal.
But look!  It’s great to see some motivational and supportive words from a teammate at half-time.
Let’s see if sharing ideas and listening to each other help the pupils on the pitch.
What a turnaround, and a truly fantastic response from the team. The greens have shown real character when things got tough. The deserving winners are delighted with the result, but they’re not forgetting to thank the opposition for the challenge. 
Now that’s what I call being connected!

Be fair 
And the free kick’s taken.  
And.. she shoots.. and she scores...
But hang on…
The scorer’s teammate is having a word with the referee..
And the goal has been overturned!!
The referee signals that the ball did not cross the line. What fantastic honesty from this pupil.
This Primary Star should be proud of himself for playing fairly and within the rules.

This has been a lesson based on values and hopefully you're excited to explore these behaviours in your lessons.
