As a coach of a football team,

I have to decide who to put on the pitch.

Deciding who plays in your next match can be a very hard decision.

Training sessions are a great time to test things out

and see what combinational play works best.

When we group players into teams for training drills,

it is a way of sorting them.

Midfielders here, attackers, out to the side here.

Sorting is a very important match skill

and we can sort in many different ways.
